Dr. Chao's history with science and dental care began as a specially trained pharmacy technician during his high school days in Los Angeles. Following graduation from high school he went on to study Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California at Berkeley. A desire to help others and further his education led him to the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. For continuing education Dr. Chao studied implant placement and restoration at University of California at Los Angeles.
During his last two years of the dental program, Dr. Chao received recognition for his role as a mentor to other dental students at the USC Mobile Dentistry Clinic, a group that provided dental care for elementary school children in nine school districts in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Concurrent with his course work he also joined "Ayuda", ("Help" in Spanish), a group that went to Mexico to provide dental care to patients in need.
While he truly enjoyed working for other dentists in Tucson, Dr. Chao felt the urge to get more involved in his community, and as a Sahuarita resident, the transition to a Green Valley practice seemed like the logical next step. Dr. Chao opened Desert Villa Dental in March 2006.
Today Dr. Chao and his team are happy to assist their community members in achieving their perfect smile dreams. Dr. Chao has had extensive training in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, including veneers, implants, root canals, and more.

Hello. my name is Dr. Michael Brossman. I really enjoy the outdoors. Picacho Peak being one of my all time favorite hikes. In the winter I enjoy snowboarding. I am also an avid cyclist and completed El Tour in 2013. Other than that I enjoy reading and spending time with my cairn terrier, Lt Dan. He is the best!
I went to undergrad at the University of Colorado Boulder. It was there that I chose the field of dentistry after volunteering at a clinic for impoverished persons and migrant workers. At the clinic I saw first hand how much good can be done in this field. This is still true to this day as I like to help and get to know people. After graduating from dental school at Midwestern University in Glendale AZ, besides working, I have volunteered with Missions of Mercy in Phoenix and Hopefest in Tucson.
I have a sister who is graduating with a degree in Mathematics who I am very product of. I have two brothers, one who lives in Pennsylvania and one who lives in Colorado. Spending time with them is important to me and every summer we try to take a trip to a new location. So far we've been to Maine, California, Oregon, Colorado, and yes even Arizona.
